Chrissy and her family have been nothing short of amazing. From pup care and questions, keeping us in the loop every step of the way to continuing to showing love and support when the pup comes home — not just for the dog but for the whole family. We just welcomed our first pup, Poe, home last week and felt calm and prepared bringing him home. She sends the puppy home with everything they may need from sibling scent blankets to dog food, medical records & tips to even some little things for the pup pawrents. It is a jam packed (& beautiful might I add) bag! You name it, it’s in there! Soon we will be welcoming a little girl named Hope & we are so ready. I know the transition will go smoothly for that as well & The connections I have made with the Mingee fam and Poe’s siblings pawrents has been great to have as another resource if needed. Over the years I’ve raised many puppies from many different breeders. For the most part, all seemed to view their dogs as property, and breeding as a business. In all instances, I picked up a dirty puppy and never heard from the breeder again. My experience with Mingee’s was the complete opposite. From the start Chrissy wanted to know what my experience was with having dogs, and specifically dachshunds. She asked where I lived, who/where my vet was, how I planned to train my puppy, etc. I appreciated that she cared about where her puppies were going. Once I was approved, there was lots of communication and updates on how my puppy and her litter mates were doing. When it came time to pickup my puppy, Chrissy took her time to go over everything with me, from caring for my puppy, training, health and everything in between. There were tears, it’s clear Chrissy is very invested in the lives of the dogs she breeds. So far my puppy is in great health, and is well adjusted and socialized. Chrissy continues to check-in to make sure my puppy is happy and healthy and that I’m supported as a pet parent. I highly recommend her, and I would definitely get a dog from her again and again.

My wife and I were searching for a dachshund puppy when we came across Chrissy. She was fantastic about answering any questions we had and we could tell she was very knowledgeable about the breed. After selecting our puppy she consistently updated us on the litter’s health and sent tons of photos and videos. When we picked up our puppy she gave us tons of information on the breed and sent us home with a stocking filled with goodies! It is evident how much she cares for her puppies by how she consistently checks in with us to see how he is doing. We are so happy that we found our sweet Wallace from Mingee's Longhair Mini Dachshunds & Dream Catcher's Dachshunds!! The whole process from my first contact with Chrissy until the day we picked him up went smoothly. We were sent pictures, videos, and updates frequently as we waited for the Big Day! All the families receiving a puppy from this litter were linked in a chat, so we could get info on our babies and keep in touch as the puppies grow up! We were even able to meet Wallace a couple of weeks before we could actually take him home. Pick up day included so much information and a beautiful bag with Wallace’s name on it filled with puppy essentials and special gifts for my husband and me too! I recommend Mingee’s Longhair Mini Dachshunds II 100%!! When I was looking for a mini longhair dachshund a few months ago I discovered Mingee’s Facebook page. I began following the page and was thrilled when sweet baby Belle became available. I instantly reached out to Chrissy Mingee (the owner of Mingee’s Longhair Mini Dachshunds II) and got an immediate response. The process to adopt Belle was smooth and very thorough. When I went to pick up Belle from Chrissy, I was able to see first hand that she raises her puppies at her home with so much love and care. Plus, I got to meet Chrissy’s crew of long haired dachshunds. That was fun!! Our sweet little tinker Belle has been a wonderful addition to our family, and great buddy to our other long haired mini dachshund Dixie. Chrissy and Ky are the absolute best. We were searching for a long hair mini dachshund. Found a lot of sketchy breeders in the area. Then we found Mingee’s. From the start they have been nothing but amazing. Any questions or concerns you may have, they are there for you. Live videos with your puppy before you get to take them home was the best. An AWESOME care package once you get your puppy. Nathan, our male dapple is the best pup in this world. ALL of Mingee’s pups are very healthy, extremely well mannered, smart and absolutely gorgeous. Chrissy cares for her puppies like they are her babies. They are happy, socialized, playful, trained and healthy! My Meatball came from Chrissy, and he is the absolute best. She stays in contact with us and loves on him if she sees him with me. He 100% remembers the care he got while with her. I love it. I mean, who else has a mile high puppy pile in their bed?! lol

I have known the Mingee family for years. They brought Bolt to see me when he was a puppy. I was very curious when they decided to start breeding and watched with excitement when the first litter came along, but I had two older, needy dogs at the time, so I wasn’t ready. When I was ready she was the first person I called. I can’t say enough about the whole process. She kept me in the know on each and every step of the pregnancy. I anxiously waited for the weekly videos. I quickly decided that I wanted that two dog dynamic again and contacted her about a second pup, and then when another pup from that second litter I was returned, I was contacted by Chrissy about taking him as well. I am so thankful that I did. These are the best little dogs I could ask for. They truly love each other. They are so smart and well socialized. I attribute that to the early neurological stimulation they get from Chrissy and Ky. They were played with daily and trained with simple commands. They had started to be potty trained as well. They were a part of the Mingee Family until they came home with me. Who am I kidding they are still a part of the Mingee family. With Chrissy you don’t have to worry about being scammed. You don’t have to be concerned with any surprises. She will be upfront about everything and keep you in the loop every step of the way. I only have great things to say about Mingee’s Longhaired Mini Dachsunds. I don’t hesitate referring her to anyone who asks about my three babies. Believe me I get asked about them all the time, because they are beautiful well behave pups. I may tell others about her dogs often but, Mingee’s program speaks for itself.
